πββοΈ βIf You Build It, They Will Come.β
Surfers understand this quote in a different way.
You donβt just paddle out one day and expect perfect waves, calm water, and confidence to magically appear.
You build toward it,
Session by session, breath by breath, fall by fall. π π
You build awareness by spending time in the ocean.
You build patience by waiting through lulls and missed sets.
You build calm by breathing through wipeouts.
You build strength by paddling when your arms are tired.
You build trust by showing up again after a rough session. πββοΈπͺ
And slowly⦠something shifts.
Your timing improves.
Your mind quiets.
Your confidence grows.
The waves you once hesitated on start lining up. πβ¨
Life works the same way.
You donβt meditate once and suddenly feel peaceful forever (I wish it was this simple.)
You donβt work out once and expect your body to carry you through long paddle-outs.
You donβt practice patience one time and master it.
You build it day-by-day.
π§ββοΈ Awareness through presence
π¬οΈ Calm through breath
ποΈ Strength through repetition
π΄ Grace through self-compassion
πββοΈ Progress through consistency
When you commit to the work, the results come.
Not because you forced themβ¦
But because you prepared for them.
So build the body that can paddle strong.
Build the mind that can stay calm in heavy water.
Build the patience to wait for the right wave.
Build the courage to take action when it arrives. ππ€
The ocean doesnβt rush.
It rewards those who prepare.
And just like surfing, a newsletter, wax brand or anything else,
You must put in the time, make the commitment, give yourself grace and have fun!
Just get started.
